All children are welcome to participate in virtual arts camp, no matter their level.
The cost of one week of camp is $125 plus tax.
Please note that the YMCA-Concordia Virtual Arts Camp is offering part-time programming. Our counsellors host live sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm for 9- to 12-year-olds, and from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for 13- to 17-year-olds. On Tuesday and Thursday, campers have access to pre-recorded sessions that they can watch at their convenience. Other than virtual sessions, campers must spend some time on their weekly project for each of their two chosen disciplines.
We’ll think about the future and what we envision for the world and ourselves. We will improvise and play with the themes of innovation, ideals and change.
We’ll learn different recording and mixing techniques. By the end of the week, all participants will record a solo or group performance (remotely).
All you need for this class is a few pencils and your imagination.
We’ll discover or rediscover some hip-hop steps and create our own choreography!
