About
With a presence in Québec since 1851, the YMCA aims to inspire and encourage everyone to reach their full potential, thrive and contribute to their community.
Being active is important for both our physical and mental health! That’s why we offer a variety of virtual classes to keep our communities moving and healthy while we stay at home. Découvrez tous les détails ici!
Our child development, School Success, TeenZone and C-Vert teams are constantly adapting to the changing conditions, staying in touch with our young participants to support them in their learning and ensure they do well in school and in life despite the crisis.
Seniors are particularly vulnerable to the current health crisis, especially if they live alone or are far from their family. That’s why our community workers are staying in touch with them by phone or videoconference, organizing art workshops, and even coordinating food assistance in some neighbourhoods.
Staying home when you have no home is a real challenge! Our outreach workers are out in the community every day to ensure no one falls through the cracks, providing essential physical and psychosocial support.
