Our French Department offers you a wide-range of classes, from beginners to advanced and specialized. With our different class formats, flexible schedules and dynamic approach, you are guaranteed to reach your goals quickly.

We teach 9 levels of French oral and written communication daytime to beginner and advanced students who want to learn or improve their French.

There is a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 10 students in the virtual group classes.

If the school hasn’t assigned you a level yet, or your last class was over six months ago, then please select a course and take the placement test to finalize your registration.

  • TFI Preparation Course (Test de français international)
    This course will help you to prepare for the two aspects which are evaluated during the official test: listening and writing comprehension. This will be achieved using various grammatical exercises and model questions. The instructor will also assist you in designing an effective method to help you study for the actual test.To pass the TFI, you will have to register on the ETS website.Test dates for 2022: April 23, May 21, June 18, July 16, August 13, September 17, October 15, November 19, December 10.
  • TEFAQ Preparation Course (Test d’Évaluation du Français pour l’Accès au Québec)
    This course is most right for you if you are planning to submit an application to Immigration Québec, which will require you to take this test. Students will learn to understand the intricacies of this test by doing various speaking and listening exercises similar to what you will find in the test.
  • Test de connaissance du français pour le Québec (TCFQ)
    Are you beginning the immigration process? Do you intend to apply for the Programme de l’expérience québécoise (PEQ – Québec experience program)? We offer a prep course for the Test de connaissance du français pour le Québec (TCFQ – French language test for Québec). Students will prepare for the test by doing various oral and comprehension exercises similar to those in the TCFQ.
  • Conversation (Level 1 to Level 6)
    This course is offered at the beginner and intermediate levels. It allows you to practice the grammar and vocabulary of these levels using real-life situations, discussions and exchanges on different themes chosen each week.

When registering, you will need to choose a specialized course.
French - Choice of a specialized course:
  • TFI Preparation Course (Test de français international)

    This course is offered at the beginner and intermediate levels. It allows you to practice the grammar and vocabulary of these levels using real-life situations, discussions and exchanges on different themes chosen each week.
